Gifting System

VPN added the much anticipated “gifting” system in today’s sync along with the release of collectable cards, an updated navigation bar, and a new quest for the Bag of Artifacts.

There is a new quest at the Royal Palace in Phinea to trade in your Bag of Artifacts that you got from killing the Vizier for an inventory bag with +7 space. Although many, including myself, were hoping for an orange quality weapon to go with the Eternal Assassin gear for the Heroic achievement. I suppose we will have to wait longer for that.

The gifting system can be accessed by clicking the blue Gift icon at the top of the navigation bar.  Once there, a player can browse through the FREE gifts in the different categories, choose a gift, and choose who to send the gift to.

With the gifting system, you can begin your first collectible cards collection: Monster Deck One.  According to the news, completing a collection (12 cards for the MDO) will gain you an achievement and a prize.  Later cards/gifts can be purchased with in-game money and MC’s.  And according to the patch note:

“You may be lucky enough to get one randomly as a quest reward.”

It is still bugged and there are lots more to add to it.  Stay tuned for more updates on the gifting system!

Is this the part where I point out the blaring grammatical errors? xD

Just kidding of course! Gifting seems pretty neat so far….although be warned, you can only send a maximum of 6 gifts daily now =/.
