Incredible week so far. I love it that there is always something new being added and that now there is so much that I have to make choices on what to work on first.
Last night I came across something interesting on Sunning Plateau. I was at the waterfall to do a little fishing, when suddenly I realized someone was behind me. A lizardman was standing there and he asked me if I had monster insurance. I told him no. He then proceeded to ask me what I would do if a monster ate all of my belongings. What? My bunny? Yep. My teddy bear? Yep. *gasp* MY I.W.C.I.T.J.M.A.A.I.G.W.T.L.T shirt!! Yep, yep and yes! Oh my. I didn’t like the sound of that. I thought about those eggs I had left over from Easter…the one’s starting to crack…hmmmm…..well, he went on to tell me that for one gold coin, I could at least insure my belongings. I told him the price seemed a bit steep to me. He asked me if I knew of anyone else offering such insurance. He had a point there. So, I bought it. I wonder if I’ll need it….I wonder if he’ll be around in a year if I want to renew it….
Anyway, I placed my trusty insurance paper (what pretty paper!) in the bank and promptly moved on to other concerns…namely, how on earth was I going to find new people to help out? I ran over to the cove, but not much going on there. Then I walked down the dock to Fort Freeson and introduced myself to a few new arrivals. One of them needed some food for energy, so I shared my dinner with them. Wouldn’t you know it, just a short while later I came across another hungry pirate and helped them out too. I had to go over to the Slopbucket and fill up on some more supplies. Before I knew it, I was running all over the island helping out new folk in town. So much fun!
I had just finished helping out another weary soul when I came across a mysterious tomb. What’s this? There seems to be some dirt and rock in the way. Hmph, I think I can move this stuff easily enough. I started breaking away at the dirt little by little and before I knew it, I had entered into a large cavern. Hey, this is fun! I grabbed some balls and a plank of wood and started banging away. I was pretty good at this! I found myself knocking three balls at once for a little while. Just enough to break through into a smaller cavern to the right. In there, I was able to carefully clear out a smaller hole so I didn’t disturb as much of the dirt around me. I crawled through and found myself with three choices. I chose the harder way, and had to break down every single block before I could safely make it through. Phew! I finally made my way through roughly 15 caverns before I called it quits. As I made my way deeper and deeper in I wondered how many caverns could there possibly be? 18? 20? 25??! I knew I would need a lot more energy before attempting to go any further. Also, I needed to see if I could find something to get rid of these pesky ghosts.
Well, that’s all for now. I need to rest up for another day of exploration tomorrow.

Oh my gosh there’s a cavern on Pirate Island, too? I wonder if it’s a cave system connecting the three islands! I’ll meet you in the middle!
