The Meteorites

You can forget all doubts you may have had that The Meteorites staff aren’t dedicated. It has just passed 3 am, and I’m posting news from my phone. Anyway, onto the news
Meteor Games has transferred their forums from twinskies.com to meteorgames.com. The forums have a new design, and from what I can tell, all posts have been transferred as well. They are still working on the forums, so they may change over the next day or so.

Yes, VPN, TS Forums, and now, even Meteor Games is down.  It’s not just you!  It’s everybody.  Be patient…we’re sure once Adam realizes what’s happened, he’ll fix it again.  We’ll keep you updated.

Redshadow, an admin, had this to say in the TS Forums when they came back up:

“Sorry guys I’m being a bad admin and a good son. I was off visiting my mother so it took me a few minutes to get home to try and fix things. The servers should be coming back up. It will take a minute for all of them to come back though. I’m working on it right now.”

What a good son AND a good admin.  The site appears to be in working order now.  Have fun!

The Meteor Credit Store has been released!  There are some glitchy things happening right now, but be patient.  They’ll work out the kinks. 

The Credit Card option isn’t working atm, but Adam said in the forums he’ll be working on that again on Monday.  For now, you can get MC with PayPal or through special offers!  Don’t forget the Barbershop when you start spending your MC.

After a week of VPN being in beta, there has just been the first major update. Lots of new features, and bug fixes, of which I’m sure your favourite is the decrease in energy renewal time from 20 minutes to 15. It’s not a lot, but definitely better than before.

Quick summary of updates straight from the VPN home page:

• Ability to create up to three characters.
• Delete characters.
• UNIQUE character names (you can request a name change if you want).
• Energy refill down to 15 minutes. Timer shows how long left to wait.
• No level restrictions on pets.
• You can add friends by just typing in their name.
• You can boost a friend’s energy levels once every half hour.
